The King of Jordan welcomed his Saudi counterpart at the Marka Military Airport on Monday, as the Saudi King arrived in the country ahead of Wednesday’s Arab Summit.

Following an official welcoming ceremony at the airport, the two leaders headed to the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, where they held business talks between the Jordanian and Saudi delegations. Several business agreements between the two nations were also signed.

A spokesperson from the Saudi Royal Court said the warm meeting between the two Kings highlighted the “fraternal ties” between the two Kingdoms, and their discussions were important to further strengthen bilateral relations.

King Abdullah and King Salman will both attend the 28th Arab Summit later this week.
