Princess Astrid on RBM Tour – Part 2

Princess Astrid of Belgium, Special Representative to Roll Back Malaria (RBM) is on a tour of a week in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, to promote consciousness of malaria and how it can be prevented.

Last Sunday, 29 March, the Princess met with Prince Alwaleed and his wife, Princess Amira at his office in the Kingdom Tower in Riyadh. Prince Alwaleed and Princess Amira hosted a luncheon for the Belgian Princess and the delegation of RBM, including Prof. dr. Coll-Seck. During the luncheon, the royals discussed various humanitarian, philanthropical and socio-economic issues, as well as the bilateral relationship between the two countries. The Prince expressed his willingness to help support their cause through the Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation.

Yesterday, 31 March, Princess Astrid visited another hospital in Riyadh, followed by local media.
