King Juan Carlos Hosts Dinner for Balearic Authorities

His Majesty the King hosted the annual dinner for the Balearic Islands’ authorities at the the Royal Palace of La Almudaina in Palma de Mallorca. King Juan Carlos was joined by the Queen and the Prince and Princess of Asturias.

Notably absent was Infanta Elena and her younger sister, Infanta Cristina and her husband, who have all been present over the past few years.

The King, Queen, Prince and Princess greeted their guests and posed for several official photos at a reception room adjacent to the dinning room of the Palace. The traditional dinner menu consisted of the local Balearic cuisine including tomato gazpacho, seabass, and chocolate mousse, accompanied by Mallorcan wine and Catalan cava.
