I wouldn't say it's a dress but a shirt at first sight. Generally, I'm not too keen on the pattern. The only think that I like on her is her make-up which is appropriate to the event IMO.

Too busy, too much prints. Like the colours but not all together.

The arrival outfit appears to be all right. I like the upper part of the coat (?) and bright colour. The belt, on the other hand, tends to overwhelm the outfit. Tights are too shiny. I wish we had a better pictures of the ensemble.
The shirt dress per se is all right as well. However, a combination of orange and grey colour is somewhat awkward. The hairstyle and make-up are fine.

Thanks stephanievl for the full-view photos.
I agree with Cinderella that it's flashy. But I've realised Mathilde looks lively colors and tries to pick out clothes in such hues, unfortunately not always with a good effect. The shoes look fine though...

I don't like it but I don't hate it. The colors are a little awkward

Mathilde could wear a potato sack and look good.

Her tights always look shiny.

The poor children in the picture do not look very happy, glad someone
is working with them.

I wouldn't agree on the potato sack thing. On anyone. I saw that phrase many times and it always makes me smile. Come on, NO ONE would look good in potato sack. All Crown Princesses / Princesses / Queens / comonners are beautiful in their own, unique way, but how they dress is a different story. Some outfits are amazing and WOW, some are great, some are OK but, and I guess that apllies to everyone out there, some are "what the... was she thinking?". That's the way it is. There is not a single person (Crown Princess, Princess, Queen, comonner, anyone) out there who ALWAYS look good, in EVERYTHNG.

Cool

Mathilde's arrival suit was beautiful. Her shirt dress pattern was different, but I think she was paying a bit of homage to Liberia and the women who wear bright, beautiful patterned colors. I love the fact that she's in Liberia and learning about women's issues.

This one is wonderful. Pink suits Mathilde a lot. The shoes are awful though.

I like the tunic, it has an interesting combination of colours. The shoes are nice too.

The tunic is nice, but the pants are too wide for the combination. Something with straight legs would be better.

The pink arrival suit looks nice and professional. I don't like the orange and grey dress - either the color combination or the pattern of it.

Well well it was just an expression to say how naturally beautiful she is.
