I love both outfits and find them very well put together. However, I think (or agree with other posters) that the brown skirt is too short to be worn at a royal event (should be at least at knee length). The Hugo Boss skirt is lovely and the jacket goes well with it although it's being ruined by the cut, it's ill tailored and therefore looks plain frumpy on Letizia.

I like the color and style, however the jacket is 2-size too big for Letizia, the sleeves are too long. A few more nice pieces she only wore once.

March 2005 in Valencia. The white suit was very Letizia.

Definitely she is not and elegant princess, some of her outfits are horrible.
 
This grey suit has always been 2-size too big, one of many ill-fitted clothes by Varela.
 
Yes this grey suit is really horrible!Maybe confortable and warm but horrible taste in fashion!
 
I dont think it is horrible at all. I think its pretty but doesnt fit well.
 
I think this grey suit is nice and interesting, maybe it could fit a little better.

I like this color grey on her. I do think that I would like the outfit better if she wore a colored turtleneck (maybe a fushia or even yellow). The fit of the jacket is good, but the pants seem to be a bit to wide through the leg.

Well looking at the pictures again, I dont think the jacket is big, I think it fits prefectly. The sleeves are meant to be puffy/loose
 
I love her but I'm really sick of seeing the opaque hose and the turtlenecks.
I do love the brown sheer illusion skirt!

I think she should buy more separates and mix and match them with her suits instead of always wearing the same matching jacket and trousers/skirts.

The skirt is lovely and deserves much better. Overall a terrible combination: stockings, shoes and this shiny pink jacket. My first thought was that Letizia would make a nice pair with Fred of Denmark who has a soft spot for shiny suits :eek:
 
I like her today´s outfit. The skirt fits with the jacket, and the shine doesn´t bother me at all, I love the colour of the jacket. The skirt is beautiful. The stockings fit with the skirt, she looks very good to me.

The skirt is recycled, I think this is the thrird time.
The combination of the jacket isnt nice with the skirt. I dont mind the stockings but the overall of the outfit I dont like.

Completely agree.
I don't like it at all.
The combination somehow ruins the whole outfit.
The jacket itself looks nice; so does the skirt. But it just does not work together... especially with the black stockings...
 
Yes the jacket is too simple, it is a jacket that fits with a pair of blue jeans not this skirt!!The combination is terrible, although she is a very beautiful lady so everything she wears turns out to be a little better even if the combination is horrible, like this one!!!!!

After seeing the jacket up close, that was exactly what I was thinking. It would look much, much better with a pair of jeans. I don't get this silkish skirt & velvet jacket fetish she's got going right now. And you are most correct in saying that she is beautiful, but most of these outfits as of late are aweful.:eek:
 
I like only the jacket. That grey (?) shirt under the jacket is sooo ugly, and the shoes too.

Maybe it's down to the suit and to Varela's ill-fitting design that Letizia looks almost skeletal today, really drawn although they had a longer break. Terrible hair, as if not washed at all during her event-free time.

Looks like a new suit. Any idea if it is?
Its kind of pretty & I dont think its ill fitting like a few others of her's. Im not a fan of the purple top underneth, maybe because the top is very casual.
