The Infantas Elenas and Cristina represented this night in the Theatre Calderón of Madrid to the premiere of 'Fama', which, directed by Ramon Ribalta, moves to the Spanish scenes the musical one that triumphed in the decade of the 80, and that has been represented in 70 countries.
In the premiere of this night there were also the sisters of the King, the infantas Pilar and Margarita.

Doña Elena and Doña Cristina de Borbón did not want to lose the opening of 'Famá in the Calderón Theater of Madrid. In the musical comedy, inspired by the film and televising series that devastated in the decade of the 80 and which she has been represented in 70 countries, she either did not lack the presence of the sisters of the King, the infants Doña Pilar and Doña Margarita.

Does anybody know if any of the members of the Spanish royal attended the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Italy? They usually attend this kind of ceremonies because they have a very strong connection to the Olympic Committee.

In the web of the Royal House they do not say anything and in case of the Oficial Inaguration it would bring it, possibly is there the Infanta Pilar how member of the Olympic Comitee.
The Royal Family is in the habit of coming more to the Summer Olympic games, that to those of Winter, because in those of Winter there are very few Spanish sportsmen/women, in this occasion only 16.
The Kings have an agenda very occupied in the next weeks so they will not be able to come.
In case someone was coming, probably it is done by the Princes of Asturias or the Dukes of Palm to see Maria Jose Rienda the most important option of medal for Spain. I believe that she competes on the 22nd or 24th. But for the moment there is nothing announced.

Infant Elena skis with Iñaki Urdangarin in Baqueira

Iñaki Urdangarin and infant Elena enjoyed this weekend hours of rest and snow in Baqueira Beret, where it was possible to be seen them skiing in one of the tracks. Although neither he was accompanied of his respective pairs, they enjoyed the company of his children.

The King grants to Ayala the great Cross of Isabel the Catholic

According to this, a spokesman into the Real House informed that the King gave the decoration to Francisco Ayala in a food personally that the Kings offered last Monday to Ayala and its wife, the American Spanish scholar Carolyn Richmond.
It was an intimate food, that took place in the Palace of the Zarzuela and to which also attended Princes of Asturias.

Queen and Infanta Margarita preside over presentation of ' Discapacidades humanas', series TV

The Queen today presided over the presentation of the televising series titled ' Discapacidades humanas', in which for the first time the protagonists are the own ones affected, who offer their point of view to disclose their reality of life. The series will emit by the second chain of the TVE Tuesdays to the 10,00 hours, from next the 28 of March, in the program ' the Adventure of the Saber'.
It includes testimonies of the families and professionals who help to include/understand better the reality of each type of discapacidad: auditory, visual, minusvalía physical, cerebral damage, mental disease or syndrome of Down, and thus until the twelve that Foundation ELEVEN has understood that they represent better the diversity of this sector of population.
