I think it's a tighter skirt with an overskirt/train. I find it very hard to believe Silvia would do pants for this.
 
I think the top part would have been better without so many crystals or with a bit deeper neckline. This way it distracts from the necklace she is wearing.

The gala gown is a bit too much but it kind of suits Silvia anyway. Happy to see the Braganza.

It wasn't a statement necklace, though, just "additional diamonds". I thought it was neat the way the neckline was so closely tailored for the necklace.

Is there anything that can distract from the Braganza? ;) Although the whole sparkly outfit and the giant sparkly tiara seemed to achieve a kind of balance.
 
I can't claim to be a fan of this yellow dress. Neither the buttery yellow colour, not the bright coloured sequenced bodice are to my taste.

The bit I do like is the way the necklace followed the shape of the collet collier. Very clever!
 
The Queen really knocked it out of the park with her jubilee outfits. From the subded elegance of the opera and Te Deum to the glorious majesty of yesterday’s banquet and the jolly festivity of today. Every inch a Queen.
 
The Queen's dress at the State Banquet is from Georg et Arend. The German brand seems to be the Queen's favorite nowadays. They have also designed, for example the dresses for the state visit banquets from Spain, The Netherlands and Finland, as well as the purple one for Queen Margrethe's jubilee last year.

Queen Silvia yesterday evening at the christening of the Mentor Rose. This outfit isn't any favourite for me.

No not a great outfit on Queen Silvia, the jacket is the nicest part.

The gown is beautiful, but false eyelashes don't suit her.

On Tuesday October 17 Queen Silvia unveiled Swedish artist Alexander Klingspor's sculpture "New York City Legend" at Union Square in New York. She looked lovely.
