Queen Beatrix brought her granddaughter Catharina-Amalia to the European Dressage championships this weekend.

Lovely black pearls or is that wood? And is Amalia wearing her first sapphire necklace?

At the wedding of Sophie von Isenburg and Georg Friedrich of Prussia, Beatrix' niece princess Carolina of Bourbon-Parma wore the laurel wreath tiara which Beatrix often wore as a young princess. I think this was the first time that Carolina wore a tiara, wasn't it?

I think Beatrix hasn't worn it for decades, but I'm not sure when she stopped wearing it. Does anybody know?
I'm also wondering if Maxima will try out this one soon.

I hope also that princess Maxima will wearing this tiara.

It is a very pretty and particularly elegant tiara. Queen Beatrix alwasy wore this particular piece extremely well and she always looked lovely in it. This tiara will also suit Crown Princess Maxima perfectly.

That should be put together in one thread please as none own the jewellery we see.It is all part of the Historic Collections of the House of Orange and thus not theirs except they can "borrow' an item or parure for any occasion if they so please,at any time.

THE site of all sites on Dutch Royal Jewelry.
