Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent & Princess Josephine, News Part 1: October 2023 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I am sure her grandmother is delighted.

I'm sure she'll enjoy it. She's always been a little performer.

And it's delightful to see kids having fun, while they are still kids.
- May her childhood last as long as possible.

Great for Josephine! Glad that she is allowed to have fun and do something that she obviously enjoys doing! And I agree with Muhler - may she enjoy being a kid as long as possible and develop herself as her own person and pursue her interests! This is something that all kids, imo, have been allowed to do growing up. They don't live in a bubble. They are not little royal kid robots either.

Photos of Isabella on holiday …

A promo for the music festival …

Facebook and Instagram … musikilejet … now starting to fill with videos and photos of the festival. The food looks good.

Glad to see her enjoy with friends. The family seem big fans of music festivals. We often see them in the summer music festivals in Denmark

I notice you hat it’s a thing for some
Nordic royals to wear Yankees hats are they generally fans of the team and baseball or this the logo is trendy type of thing for adult of that generation ((I know Daniel has a hat and I think I saw a picture of haakon with one

And Isabella ?

By the way this is from the Yankees hat Mary is wearing in some photos

I don't think what any text on the hats says means anything. They just wear it because it's fashionable casual for the occasion.
While I certainly won't rule out that the children do follow American baseball on TV somewhere, they would by in the minority among their friends, because baseball isn't really a thing in Europe.
Having said that I think most people here in DK have a baseball cap or two lying around somewhere, either from work or as a merchandise advert, or simply because it's a practical item to wear on a sunny day walking the dog or while working in the garden. However quite a few do wear a baseball cap that seems glued to their heads.
But what kind of baseball cap it is rarely matters, it's just a piece of clothing.

Isabella turns 18 next year anything planned?

Adding on I seen prince daniel and crown prince haakon where the hat of the Yankees too it’s like some kind of trend from that generation

I suggest you put this in the teenage royal fashion thread, there are probably someone in the know there, who tell you whether this is a trend or not.

Tonight, Princess Josephine makes her onscreen debut in DR's television advent calendar Tidsrejsen 2. The advent calendar is about time travelling. Josephine plays Kate, a friend of the main character's mother in 1994. She is credited as "H.K.H. Prinsesse Josephine" (HRH Princess Josephine) – IIRC when she made her stage debut, she was credited as "Josephine Sophia Ivalo". The series started filming in October 2023.

Billed Bladet reports that tonight's episode is not the only episode of the series Josephine features in.

By making the leap to screen acting, Josephine once again follows in the footsteps of her grandmother, QMII, who made her onscreen debut in The Wild Swans from 2009 (which she also wrote the screenplay for and was the set designer of), playing "a member of the mob".

I hope Josephine enjoys her so far modest movie career, she's always been a delightful performer.

I don't know how common TV-calendars are outside DK, but her they have been a thing since around the time I was born, and that's a long time ago!
It's basically a countdown to Christmas with 24 short episodes culminating in some kind of happy ending (usually, but not always) on Christmas Eve.
They started out being aimed at children from 4-12 years of age, but some of them also attracted a large adult audience, who watched the episodes with their children - or used their children as an excuse to watch the episodes...
The theme is almost invariable about Christmas with either Christmas being somehow threatened or some sort of issue than needs to be resolved - and can it be resolved before before Christmas? The suspense, the suspense!
The episodes usually also feature some songs that often ends up being evergreens.

Back in the age of TV-monopoly there was only one Christmas calendar, but now there are several, both for children and adults. The fond memories of some of our favorite TV-calendars are of course pure nostalgia as is all of Christmas.
I have a favorite calendar from my childhood and watching TV-calendars with my own children, they too have their favorites.

The calendar Josephine is an extra in is build upon a much loved calendar, 15 years later, so time travel is a neat way to explain that the main character is now an adult woman, while cutting back to scenes when she was only 15 in the first series. And combining that you get a drama about time travel that needs to be resolved before Christmas. But the suspense! Will she make it? What if she doesn't!

I had not experience the Christmas calendar on Tv, thanks for the info!
This is very neat of Josephine exploring and enjoying. I can imagine her parents being proud but also grandmother Margrethe. She got an artistic granddaughter.

Phine the actress...

For those who wish to feast their eyes on Josephine the actress, today is truly the day!
She appears in several scenes and has a number of lines.
I'm not qualified to judge the talents of these teen actors but I think most shouldn't give up their day-jobs. And that's what makes it charming of course.
- Today's episode is dramatic! It's basically the eternal and relatable teenage problem: Boys be stupid! Break up with stupid boy! Will never ever forgive him! How to get back on him so he'll learn that she is sooo over him? That'll teach him!
You get my drift, right?
Josephine is the girl with the left hand in a cast and pigtails. As a very supportive friend of the spurned girl. She's supposed to be from the 90's so it's fat nostalgia for those who remember these ancient days. I personally can't recall 90's teens dressing like that.
I wonder if you can watch today's episode here: DRTV - Tidsrejsen: Kend og knus din fjende

Josephine makes her first appearance around the 5 minute mark. She really starts talking away at around 8 minutes in. At 13 she starts dancing - amazing what they can train royal kids to do.

It’s very sweet to see Josephine as her character, I’m sure she had so much fun being on the tv set.

Maybe just me but I was surprised that they used her royal title in the credits. I would have thought that Josephine Monpezat or Josephine Glucksberg would have blended in better with the other actors.

I suppose they are just using her legal name.

Very cool for Josephine. Mary has in the past expressed how why the kids may be royal, and have some sort of frame they should also be allowed to explore and express themselves.

And seeing Margrethe be so artistic, I'm sure Josephine caught a bit too

Josephine looks adorable in that hairstyle!

Princess Isabella now has a driver's license!

This was confirmed by HER&NU, who had the news confirmed by the royal household.

As Princess Isabella only turns 18 in April, she will only be able to drive under special conditions.

Another detail in the article is this picture:
Where Isabella is wearing a necklace with a pendant in the form of the letter P. Now who (or what) is the elusive P?

Rumours on Instagram were already circulating back in summer that Bella has a boyfriend named Philippe. Don‘t know if it is true but she has the necklace with the pendant since at least summer.

It’s clearly from the Dulong letter necklace’s… Though it does not explain why she has choosed the letter ”P” 😉

She obviously doesn’t mind the speculation if she is wearing it so openly.

That's quite an expensive pendant for a young girl: 2400 EUR. Makes you wonder whether the person she received it from has money to spend...

It could always be for Princess, then it can last her the rest of her life, unless dad makes good on his wifes promise to look at the titles of the three younger children when time comes... Dulong is seriously overprized

Great for Isabella on getting her Driver's License! That is the only thing confirmed about her lately. Anything else is speculation and, from what I can see, assumption and gossip. Looking forward to hopefully seeing her have an 18th birthday gala this year and seeing her in a tiara for the first time!!
