Probably one the most famous pieces associated with the late Princess were the Diamond and Ruby Cartier Bains de Mer Parure.
The earrings and brooches were worn by the Princess of Hanover after her mothers death in 1982.

It could be many years until we find out if bigger pieces in Grace's collection have gone to Caroline or stayed with the main line. Jaques will come to the throne very possibly before he is married so I can well imagine his sister accompanying him to various royal events abroad until then. We may actually have to wait to see them on PG to find out if the rubies and the rest of Grace's jewels are with the heirs as I just don't think Charlene will wear them during Caroline's lifetime. I hope I'm wrong though.

The Grace Kelly years Princess of Monaco exhibition that started in 2007 in Monaco and travelled to different other places in later years showed her jewelry with cards mentioning as being part of the collection of the Prince of Monaco.

It was interesting to note that Princess Grace always wore a tiara at the National Day Gala to the Opera in Monaco.
What a shame this tradition was continued or rived by either Charlene or Caroline.

Grace didn't have a good relationship with her mother in law and had to start from scratch with her jewel collection.

The only member of the family who wears Grace's jewels is her daughter,the Princess of Hanover.

The rubies of the late Princess Grace ,they were last worn by Grace in 1982 ,Princess Stephanie has also worn the earrings but it would be wonderful to see the current Princess Consort wearing some of the historic family jewels.

It’s sad that Charlene chooses not to wear tiaras, but even if she were to, I can’t see her choosing this one, not least because she has been gifted one from her husband .

I would love to see tiaras being reintroduced for the National Day Gala at the Opera as it was under R&G!

Yes that is a bit strange. If Charlene never does wear Grace's jewels then I at least hope they will be passed on to Jacque's wife/Princess Gabriella and not to the Casiraghi's. I am definitely getting a feeling that Charlene seems much more comfortable in her role as princess these days though and feel confident that she will wear a tiara at the next big royal gala occasion she attends.

The jewels of Princess Grace have been much neglected since her death.
We must remember that Grace didn't have any of the family jewels at her disposal when she married Rainier III.
These were in the hands of Princess Charlotte her mother in law and they did not get on.
Grace had to start from scratch building up her own personal jewel collection and added them to the ones Rainier III gave her.
