I really, really want this new baby to be a girl. I have a feeling it will be Stephanie's last child. She will turn 39 shortly before the birth.

I love the name Alix. And I see Princess Alexandra as godmother and one of Stephanie's young de Lannoy nephews as godfather.

I also like the name Alix, but I don't think it will be their baby's first name (if it is a girl). Like Charles, they will choose a name they like (Alix might be the second or third name).

As for godparents, 50% is obvious: it will be a sibling from Stephanie and a sibling from Guillaume. If it is a girl, I think it will be Princess Alexandra, but if its a boy, I think Prince Sebastian will be the godparent.

-Marie-Alix: Marie for family tradition and Alix for Stephanie's mother

I guess the baby will also have six names as little Charles.

I'm pretty sure Alix, Marie and Teresa will be three of her middle name if it's a girl, and Marie, Guillaume will be two of his middle name if it's a boy Antonia is my first pick for girl when G&S was expecting their first child, it still is this time. Not much idea for the boy as little Charles already took many very possible names in both family, may be a couple of name will be used again?

Antonia/Louise Alix Teresa Marie Josephine Charlotte, or Joanne Elisabeth Madeleine Wilhelmine Marie Stephanie

For Boy -

I'd say we may expect quite a few names, given that Charles has 6:

Meaning that Charles got ALL his father's name with two extra (Charles and his grandfather Philippe)

So, let's take a guess for a boy:
Albert Henri Antoine Olivier Marie Guillaume

I don't necessarily like 'Albert' but it's a name both their fathers have in common as one of their middle names - and as they already used the name of a king for their first son, why not for the second as well.

And for a girl:
Alix Charlotte Teresa Christine Marie Wilhelmine

Alix is of course both the name of Stephanie's mother as well as a name in the Luxembourgian grand ducal family - I'm not sure that they'd pick this name as first name but I like it and to me it works with Charles.

Some royals do but Guillaume and Stephanie seem to be more of the traditional sort... First, Guillaume marrying a countess. Giving their first son 6 names including all his father's names... So, I do expect a royal/family/traditional name.
