On September 16-18, Their Royal Highnesses The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel visit Denmark.
In 2017 Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited Sweden together with a Danish business delegation. Two years later, it is now time for the Swedish Crown Princess couple to make a visit to Copenhagen.
The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel are accompanied by Lena Hallengren, the Minister for Health and Social Affairs and by a Swedish business delegation, led by Fredrik Persson, chairman of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. The delegation consists of about 20 Swedish companies.

Monday 16th September
Reception at the ambassador's residence
The visit begins on Monday evening with Fredrik Jörgensen, Sweden's ambassador to Denmark, inviting to a welcome reception at the residence. Participating are the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel, Lena Hallengren, Fredrik Persson, chairman of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, Ylva Berg, CEO of Business Sweden, and the business delegation.
On Sankt Annæ Plads is the house that since 1921 is the ambassador's residence in Copenhagen. Fredrik Jörgensen has been Sweden's ambassador to Denmark since 2015.

Tuesday 17th September
Visit to the UN City
In the morning, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, together with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, visit the UN City. The Swedish business delegation and Minister Lena Hallengren also participate. In the UN City, they are welcomed by Grete Faremo, Executive Director at UNOPS.
The theme of the visit is "Innovation Partnerships with the UN to accelerate the SDG's". Crown Princess Victoria will give a speech, as will Tom Erixon, President and CEO of Alfa Laval, and Sandra Frank, Co-Founder of Arvet.
The UN City in Copenhagen was built in 2013. 11 of the UN's offices have office there. Three of these are represented during the delegation's visit: UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency), UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) and UNDP (United Nations Development Programme).

Danish Industry Summit
Tuesday afternoon continues with a visit to DR's concert hall, where the Crown Princess couple, Crown Prince couple and the business delegation attend the summit of Dansk Industri.
This year's theme is "Green Transition" and the purpose is to discuss how companies, politicians and citizens can work together to achieve growth and sustainability to create a green future. During the meeting, Crown Princess Victoria will give a speech and Crown Prince Frederik will award the DI Prize 2019.
From the Swedish business delegation, Martin Lundstedt, CEO Volvo Group, will give a speech.
Dansk Industri is the Danish equivalent of Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.

Reception at HMS Nyköping
At the quay at Amaliehaven, below Amalienborg, will be the Swedish corvette HMS Nyköping. On Monday evening, the commander invites to reception on the ship. The Swedish Crown Princess Couple and the Danish Crown Prince Couple arrive together and board.
HMS Nyköping was launched in 2005 and is the fourth Visby-class corvette. Together with the sister ship HMS Karlstad, and the slightly smaller HMS Stockholm and HMS Malmö, she recently visited Copenhagen. The ships are based in Karlskrona.

Dinner at the ambassador's residence
Together with Mrs. Marianne Jörgensen, Ambassador Fredrik Jörgensen hosts a dinner with the Crown Princess Couple and Crown Prince Couple as honorary guests. Guests from the Swedish and Danish business community, as well as other stakeholders, are also invited.

Wednesday 18th June
Swedish-Danish Business Forum
The Crown Princess Couple, Crown Prince Couple and minister Lena Hallengren, together with the Swedish business delegation, will arrive at the head office of Dansk Industri on Wednesday morning to participate in the Swedish-Danish Business Forum. Danish minister Benny Engelbrecht also participates in the forum.
The purpose is networking and roundtable discussions on topics such as "The green Transition", "Modernizing Healthcare" and "Transport and infrastructure."
The couples also visit the House of Green, in the same building; a showroom, where guests have the opportunity to see Danish innovation solutions for green conversion and sustainability. The exhibitions are based on four themes: circular economy, water, cities and energy.
House of Green is founded by the Industriens fond, is run in collaboration with State of Green and was inaugurated in 2013 by Crown Prince Frederik, who is the patron of State of Green.

Innovation and start up fair
After the Swedish-Danish Business Forum, the Crown Princess couple and Crown Prince couple go to Øksnehallen, to make a short visit to Tech BBQ 2019. It is one of Scandinavia's largest innovation conferences, which aims to strengthen and support the Nordic innovation ecosystem. The work on the conference is based on Nordic values such as openness, inclusion and trust. Each year, the conference addresses a number of different themes. This year's themes are "Mental health", "Ecosystems", "Breakthrough", "Global conservation" and "Emerging technologies".

Amager Bakke - power plant became ski slope
On Wednesday afternoon, Crown Princess Victoria and Crown Prince Frederik visit Amager Bakke. Amager Bakke is a thermal power plant where waste and garbage turns into heat and energy. An artificial ski slope has been built on the roof of the power plant. There is also room for hiking and climbing. The building is designed by the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels from the architectural firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). He has designed several well-known landmarks in Copenhagen, such as the Copenhagen harbor baths on Islands Brygge, as well as the World Cup and Bjerget in Ørestad.

Børneriget and Nordfløjen at Rigshospitalet
At the same time, modern healthcare and digital healthcare solutions are on the agenda of Prince Daniel and Crown Princess Mary, who visit Rigshospitalet, together with Lena Hallengren and Danish Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke.
On site, they meet, among other things, the project manager for Børneriget - a new, advanced children's hospital, which will offer new innovative treatments for children, pregnant women and their families.
The group will also get a tour of the new North Wing (North Wing), which is under construction and will be inaugurated in 2020. Here, new digital care solutions will be offered in 33 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 238 care rooms as well as an intensive care unit. The hospital's design will be presented, as will various techniques that will be used in the care of cancer patients as well as the plans for a new patient hotel.
