On February 16, the funeral of Princess Alix of Luxembourg, Dowager Princess de Ligne took place at the Saint-Pierre Church in Beloiel, Belgium. Princess Alix had passed away on 11 February at the age of 89 and leaves behind seven children, twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, though one of her grandchildren, Prince Pedro of Brazil, was killed in a plane crash in 2006. Prince Antonio and Princess Christine in Portugal

Prince Dom Antonio of Brazil, third in line for the defunct Brazilian throne, and his wife Princess Christine visited Portugal last weekend. Although the couple was in Portugal for a wedding in Coimbra.
