Last Day in Belgium for King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima

Today, Thursday March 9, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima started the third and last day of the state visit to Belgium in Leuven, a city in the province of Flemish Brabant.
The Royal Couple, accompanied by Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, paid a visit to the headquarter of Imec, an international research and development center for chip technology founded in 1984. The Royal Couples toured the facility and attended a round table meeting with the managers of the company and Belgian and Dutch CEOs.
Afterwards King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde moved to Antwerp. Upon the arrival they were received at the City Hall by Bart De Wever, the Mayor. Following the reception the Royal Couples greeted the people gathered on the Grote Markt outside the City Hall and took a walk to the Royal Museum of Fine Arts (KMSKA).
The Royal Couples toured the museum who was recently renovated and then took place a lunch meeting focused on tackling youth unemployment.
In early afternoon King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited Port House of Antwerp. King Willem-Alexander and King Philippe toured the Belgian frigate Louise-Marie while Queen Máxima and Queen Mathilde toured the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. DeRuyter.
Following the tour of the frigates took palce a farewell ceremony.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima ended the state visit with a reception held the Dutch community living in Belgium.
