Yesterday afternoon it was Infanta Cristina’s time to be heard during the Nóos trial. The Infanta and her husband are facing charges of corruption for embazzling 4,5 million Euros of public money.

The Princess said that she has full confidence in her husband and his innocence. She also distanced herself again from the running of the company Aizoon, of which she was co-owner. She said that it was her husband who always took care of the financial matters at home. The sister of king Felipe VI also denied having had secret bank accounts in Switzerland or in other tax havens, she only opened one when she moved to that country.
