Princess Haya Receives Prize of the City of Aachen

FEI President Princess Haya has been awarded the Prize of the City of Aachen on Sunday July 20th.

Princess Haya received the award in recognition of her commitment to equestrian sport. She received the award from the City of Aachen Major of the City of Aachen Marcel Philipp in a ceremony in the held in the main arena at the Aachen CHIO, Germany.

“This award means a great deal to me both personally and in my role as FEI President,” Princess Haya said.

The award has been given out since 1995 to people with outstanding service to the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival. Major of the City of Aachen Marcel Philipp said about Princess Haya receiving the award, “Princess Haya has always asserted herself for the CHIO Aachen. This prize serves as a symbol of the City of Aachen’s gratitude to her.”
