Princess Lalla Asma opens the Diplomatic Club Charity Bazaar
Princess Lalla Asma, sister of King Mohammed VI, chaired on Saturday the opening ceremony of the Charity Bazaar of Rabat’s Diplomatic Club, organized by the spouses of ambassadors accredited to Morocco under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. The Princess visited various stands of the bazaar.
On this occasion Mrs Humera Mahmood President of the Diplomatic Club and spouse of Pakistan’s Ambassador paid glowing tribute to Princess Lalla Asma for her efforts to support the Diplomatic Club.The Club which serves as a bridge between the Diplomatic Corps and Moroccan civil society,provides since its creation support to organizations working on social cultural and educational projects in different regions of Morocco she said.
The International Charity Bazaar organized annually by the Diplomatic Club of Rabat is a charity event which aims to fund projects carried out by Moroccan associations in the fields of education, health and the promotion of the conditions of rural women.
