Is she living in London now? Can you tell me?

Yes she lives in London now. Her internship is well over and, as she is essentially a private individual with a 'public' mother, no one seems to know how she fills her days. She travels a lot, goes to a lot of gallery exhibitions, has had an article published (which was very well accomplished), and attends some public events in Monaco. When she and Alex say their goodbyes (she is only 22) she will 'probably' return to Paris. However, if she continues to write in English, I suspect London may become her semi - permanent home.

Charlotte looks lovely. Her hair looks healthy. I like her jeans, those seem these slim jeans that became fashionable again. Cute dog. The only one who is not cute is Alex Dellal, was he wearing hat?:ermm:

She is lovely, beautiful, relaxed and well dressed

The dog is cute but did she go into the gallery with the dog?

But Alex.......My God... Is that guy a millionaire??? If I had met him in the stree I would have given him 1 euro to eat.........

She looks really beautiful , and her hair look so long and amazing

the dog really cute

but alex......

Char looks great  - Alex, not so much....but, like all publicity seekers, he can find the camera, no?!

Alex Dellal doesn't have to seek camera, he is in camera automatically when he appears with Charlotte.

BTW, what's up with Charlotte's school? So, her intership in London is over. Is she going back to school in Paris, or she's done?

Many new pics of Charlotte in St Tropez on August 30, 2008:

I ADORE this dress. Thank you for sharing!
One thing about the French is that they know what to wear when, and for what occasion!
We Americans are far more casual, and you'd see people wearing this outfit, downtown ... even in large cities! The French wouldn't be seen in this sort of very pretty frock even in downtown Paris, in the blazing heat!

Well, she doesn't! Which accomplishments does any of three of them, and most of socialites have? They're famous because of their families...

I wonder if she ever gets tired of having "Princess Caroline's daughter" preceding her name. I would. Nothing against her mother but being known as my mother's daughter would drive me crazy. Like you don't have enough accomplishments to be known simply as Charlotte Casiraghi. :ermm:

There was a time when Caroline was referred as Princess Grace's or Grace Kelly's daughter...

Well exactly! What accomplishments does Charlotte have, to make her famous in her own right? She is famous because of who her mother is!

Well, in all fairness to Charlotte, it would be hard to go completely unnoticed if your Mum was The Princess of Hanover, or you were as gorgeous & eligible as Charlotte currently is, no? The progeny of Royalty are always remarked upon. They'll always get attention regardless. Frankly? I'll bet Charlotte would give her "eye teeth" to be one of us from time to time.
Not that I feel too sorry for people who live "The life of Riley", but, it must be hell to have to worry if you are going to be "snapped" all the time, whenever you got out and about.

isnt she going to go to university?

She's smart enough to get in anywhere she chooses!

Her Bac results even surpassed those of Caroline, and C. got a "Avec Mention" on hers. I think Charlotte got a "Bon Mention", or something like that.

True, she doesn't have enough accomplishments yet. But she's young, still early for her to be known by her name alone. In her shoes, though, I'd like to think that I'd be working really, really, hard to establish myself independent of my family's name.

(I'm trying to think of children of rich and famous people who were able to succeed in their fields. Brain not working well at the moment. :D Only Julian Casablancas keeps popping up in my head!)

She went to University: It is not known whether she ever finished. It's only in the society magazines that she is known as 'Princess Caroline's daughter' I am sure it isn't announced everytime she walks into a room. I'm sure she's fine with it.

Do you know what University, Poppy?

Shame to waste such good Bac results on not continuing your education, although ... I don't suppose she need to worry TOO much about attaining what we call "a college degree" here in the US. She'll sail nicely thru' life without it. She'll still have all the money in the world.

She went to the Sorbonne. She tried to get into the ENS, but she wasn't successful. No one seems to know if she has finished her degree or not, because last Septmber she just appeared in London as an intern with the Independant (however internships are not uncommon, during term time, for students at a French University); however she has remained in London ever sense.

 it's seriously doubtful Caroline or their family would want to do without a college degree if they are able to do so. Internships are not uncommon, perhaps maybe a breather after school!

Her internship is over. No one knows what she is doing. She did write an article for a magazine (can't remember the name) a few months back, and helped on an article for the Independant. The French education system is very good anyway, and even if you never went to University, you would be very well educated.

It IS good. But, it stresses rote memorisation over creativity, which can be a bit of a hurdle, or a dowright bother, depending on how you look at things.

I have yet to encounter a system that didn't. It's all about standardisation, and making targets now. I have yet to encounter a University student, who when they started, ever really knew how to think for themselves.

Here in America, schools work at stressing the importance of creativity, both or oral speech and in writing. It's pretty key, here, actually. Oh sure, grammar and all that good stuff is taught, but, the ability to express oneself with flair is also valued, as are opinions and the ability to think independently. Really ;)!

Let's go back to Charlotte. ;) Tabloids that write mostly about royals are not interested if royals go to school, they take pics of royals only when they party. So, it might be not soon if we learn whenever Charlotte continues education or not...

She looks great, I love how well lipstick color goes with the dress!

:flowers: Glad to see pics of the London show!! They all did look great. Was the show part of the regular fashion show scene or a charity event?? So, glad to see playful clothes which inspire the imagination instead of something too sombre.

I cannot imagine that stating she's Pss Grace grandaughter would seem annoying. I can understand the wanting to be thought of as an individual with individual talents and accomplishments in one's own right is a good and valid point we would all agree.

However, Pss. Grace was a person with a wide range of talents and interests. Charlotte seems young enough that deciding whaat she "wants" to accomplish is the stage that she or anyone her age would be at.

most people that age really haven't formed an opinion as to what they want to accomplish yet. Any thoughts on this?:sun::monacostandard:

^ I think most people have or should have idea of what they want from life by the age of 22. It's not that young.

It's London Fashion Week this week.
