The video of the balcony brought tears to my eyes, his grandmother so proud and emotional leading the 9 cheers!

I hope Christian enjoys and soaks in every minute of his special day!
 
Daisy really looked emotional to me. Her monarchy is safer than most, and her heir's heir is already of age. What a day.
 
When does the Gala dinner start?

They are all so cute and excited

Looks like a senior prom in the United States. Except I guess they are all allowed to drink and I imagine they’ve got that under control.

IMO it's tantamount to animal abuse to stop the poor young people outside in that wind to ask them questions.

Or is he the Hofmarskal?

As for the young gentlemen, well, there is limited number of ways you can wear a suit. So it's a ladies night.

The young man from the Faeroe Islands has opted for the National costume and that's rarely a miss.

The Royal escort is arriving, so royals on the way!

There are some very beautiful young ladies, but so many of them are caring, giant shoulder bags. And a surprising number of the boys are chewing gum!

A break in the protocol, but it's because Christian is the main-person. so she will be receiving the CP-family.

As always the guestlist is a complete chaos when it comes to the titles. They list Scandavian heirs with their titles in Danish but Princesses Elisabeth and C-A are listed as, "Her Royal Highness Princess Elisabeth Belgium, Duchess of Brabant/
Her Royal Highness Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange."
While SWBs are listed in Danish with thier German titles, Prince Pavlos is "His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece" and Marie Chantal doesn't even have a designated country.

Thank you, Princess Elisabeth for giving us some glamour, that's how you wear gloves. Stunning. Couldn't see her tiara well but it didn't look like the Vestey.
