:previous: HM looks very elegant and refined! She always has a very queenly air about her - one can tell she is in charge.

She is such a chameleon. In this she is regal and her accessories are perfect.

Looking at the recent photos for Queen Margrethe's 80th birthday, I've recognized something in her that has carried her through the decades. This is a woman that wears her years well and never fails to show that she has a sincere joy of life.

Her use of colors in her attire reflect this and I was most pleased that she included wearing the diamond daisy brooch which has so much sentimental value for her.

I saw the Queen enterring the Cathedral for Queen Fabiola's Funerals.
She is tall with prestige , but her face had a lot of couperose , her teeth were jellow (smoking) and she wore to much lipstik.
Very conventional smile as ever

Turquoise seems to be one of her favourite colours and I'd happily wear that suit and scarf. Wouldn't mind the Daisy either but I know it would all look better on Margrethe as she has the personal style to carry it off. Really, she moves with such an economy of movement and was born with the elegant and perfectly poised genes.

It's a beautiful and elegant look on the Queen and very sleek and stylish.

A really nice look on queen Margrethe, the red coat is really lovely.

She doesn't miss a beat and since she has to space out her dresses unlike we who buy a dress, wear it to death and send it to the rag bag, Margrethe is able to store an attractive dress until she wants it again.

That gorgeous shirteaister dress screams 60's and 70's . . . eat your heart out. It looks so crisp and summery and beautifully cotton.

Old or new, I am envious.

Indeed, Queen Margrethe enjoys wearing crisp cotton dresses in the summer months and this one looks very chique and cool to wear!

Not sure if Margrethe's jacket goes with her dress but the colours suit her.
