Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit will visit Vietnam from March 18 to 21, 2014.
The couple visits Vietnam with Industry Minister Monica Mæland, state secretaries Morten Høglund (UD) and Amund Ringdal (NFD) and a business delegation. Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan will be host.
The reason for the visit are the good and versatile bilateral relations between Vietnam and Norway and a growing interest in Vietnam in the Norwegian sector.

The couple begins their visit in the north, at the capital Hanoi, arriving at the hotel the night of March 18. I really love Haakon and M-M introducing themselves simply with "I´m Haakon/ Mette".
