"Six of the world's leading brain scientists were honored this evening at a festive event in Copenhagen, when Hans Royal Highness Crown Prince imagined the award of the world's biggest brain research award The Brain Prize. The award is awarded by the Lundbeckfonden to one or more researchers who have excelled by an extraordinary contribution to brain research.

Professor Huda Zoghbi and Professor Sir Adrian Bird received The Brain Prize 2020 for mapping out the rare brain syndrome Rett, which especially affects girls in the first years of life.

In addition, four of the world's leading headache scientists Michael Moskowitz, Peter Goadsby, Lars Edvinsson and Jes Olesen The Brain Prize 2021 received, for having created a breakthrough that has led to the development of revolutionary antibody treatment, which can now help millions of patients with chronic migraine worldwide. With the price comes 10 million kroner."

Last night Frederik not only attended, but gave a speech, at the 75th anniversary event for the Foreign Political Society (per Google translate). The DRF IG posted photos. Another one of Frederik's events this week that was not on the official calendar. Why??

I don't understand their policy about the calendar entries either. Especially as this is an event for a group Frederik is patron of. I would think the press would be interested in this event. Second event this week where it was only put on calendar after the event happened.

Well glad we got photos and he looks fantatsic.

I completely agree with you.

I can only, I'm serious, urge you to write the court and point it out to them.

Something like what a pity it is that so many items are not listed in the official calendar, especially for people who follow M&F's work and life closely, blah-blah.
I honestly believe it will make a bigger impression if foreigners write the court.
- There is a still a degree of provinciality in DK, in regards to foreign interest in our little country.

I will most certainly be writing. If this happened very sporadically, well okay. But this is a consistent issue with M&F's events. This week alone two events of Frederik's were not on the calendar, including one for an organization that he is the patron of! And there was obviously press access at these events given we got photos. It is not only their own events, but other events in which they take part (ie State Council).

Frederik participated in Fulbright Denmark's symposium "From Soft Diplomacy to Science Diplomacy".
In 2021, Fulbright Denmark can celebrate its 70th anniversary and the Fulbright Program globally celebrates its 75th anniversary. The anniversaries are marked in Denmark with the symposium "From Soft Diplomacy to Science Diplomacy".

Frederik was to visit a training session with veterans for the Invictus games, but it was cancelled due to case of covid among the soldiers.
https://www.kongehuset.dk/kalender/a...invictus-games

Disappointment for sure
https://jv.dk/artikel/mistanke-om-co...s-frederik?rss

"- When the prince's visit is so important, it is because it is the highest official recognition of the missions that the soldiers signed up for. It will not be bigger than getting a visit from the Crown Prince, and some of the soldiers have even asked me to make sure he comes another time. That, I do everything for, must succeed, says Claus Bodilsen."

"- He's so cool, open, welcoming and attentive when he's here. He makes sure to get around to everyone and always says yes to a selfie. It is completely uncomplicated to have a visit from Frederik, so we look forward to him coming another time."

The Jægerkorpset celebrated today's 60th birthday with the participation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince. Just like the Frømand Corps is under the Navy, and the Sirius Patrol is under the Arctic Command, then the Jæger Corps is a special operation force under the Army.
The birthday celebration took place at Flyvestation Aalborg, where the Special Operations Commando has the main seat. Here, among others, the Crown Prince, the Minister of Defense Trine Bramsen and the Chief of the Jægerkorpset, Lieutenant Jens Blomqvist, could observe a capacity exercise and a birthday parade at the Jægerkorpset.
The marking was completed with a wreath laying at the memorial wall of the Jægerkorp for fallen soldiers who have served the corps.
