Love the jeans on both of them. They both look relaxed and are having a great time. Daniel seems to be getting into the grove of being a prince and I like seeing the support they offer each other. Really beautiful.

Victoria and Daniel attend at a Seminar organized by Barndiabetesfonden (Child Diabetes Foundation), taking place in the Rolf Luft Center, Karolinska Hospital on Friday, May 6. The seminar is a wedding gift from the Barndiabetesfonden to the Crown Princess couple. Victoria is the patron of Barndiabetesfonden.
Victoria will present two awards:
- Barndiabetesfondens Johnny Ludvigsson Prize for the most outstanding Nordic researchers in the field of child and adolescent diabetes, 250 000 SEK, to Professor Mikael Knip, Helsinki University.
- Barndiabetesfondens Johnny Ludvigsson Award for outstanding young Swedish researcher in the field of diabetes in children and adolescents, 50 000 SEK, to Associate Professor Ingrid Kockum, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm.

Daniel said that it´s it was the first time they wore the Ockelbo traditional costumes, as Ockelbo gave the costumes to them as a wedding gift.

Daniel gave an interview to GD. He tells that sometimes they spend two weekends in a row in Ockelbo. Other times it can go for months without making a visit, unfortunately. But Ockelbo is very important to him and Victoria because they can find peace there and go outdoors and spend time with his mom and dad. They like to take a trip to Rönnåsen and sometimes they sit and fish in a boat on Bysjön.

Although the wedding was less than a year ago it is difficult to imaging CP Victoria without Prince Daniel by her side. I am glad they have had this year, and perhaps more, to concentrate on their official programs and to keep up their visists around the country and abroad. When the day comes P. Daniel will be established in his own right and can carry on with the engagements while CP is tending to a newborn. P. Daniel is doing great and is such a compliment to CP Victoria.
