Thanks for the pictures, The Watcher!
Glad that Maxima bundled up for the chilly-looking weather. (Her hat and scarf set look like it's from The Gap. I just bought my goddaughter a sweater with a very similar pattern ...)

the Prince of Orange seems almost used to the cold. He's the only one that looks somewhat happy!

Thanks for the pictures xxLindaxx. When will Maxima be going back to her royal duties? Or will Maxima be taking a long maternity leave as Mette-Marit is?

Alexandria,
The first time that Máxima is coming back in the publicity is on 13 may.
Then distribute Máxima the 'Geuzenpenning' with the First Minister, Balkenende.

Maxima's appearance is March 13, not May. So we only have to wait a few weeks! See the "agenda" page at www.vorsten.nl

Thanks for the clarification Lady Jean. Even better that we'll get to see Maxima two months earlier!

seems we missed something which took place 6th of February 2004 :(
|
Thanks kaasmejsje for "catching" this oversight! Guess we're not as avid as we thought we were!
Nice to see Maxima out and about. Her presence is sorely missed on the royal scene. But of course, she is with Catharina-Amalia and that's what's important.

On 6 February, the royal family had a party with household. When Juliana was the Queen, there was always a party with the household around Christmas. But since Beatrix is the Queen, the party is around her birthday, 31 February.
