After the incident of 2005, much people have dedicated themselves to scrutinize the Christmas card of 2006 and have realised that Infanta Leonor lacks her left leg, on the picture.

"Let's have some common sense", says the Royal House, a little tired of this kind of controversies. "The Infanta, as the little girl she is, has little stability, as she's still learning to walk, so she put the foot as that and it accidentally was hidden on the photo, but that does not mean it is not there. I can assure you that it is an original photo, that it has not been manipulated and, if you wish to, ask a photographer, to see what he says about it".

As a matter of fact, several professionals consulted by us have showed that it is almost impossible to be photoshoped picture and they also realise that the left foot clearly rests on the carpet, with the corresponding shades.
"Besides - a spokesman of the Royal House insists - why would one cut the foot? What's the aim? The girl is the girl, and she is at home. There's no need to do a photoshoped card.

i agree. what's the point of cropping one's leg? that's ridiculous! why would someone cropped the leg especially if the picture will be released to the media? i think the other leg clearly rests on the carpet. it's just that it's not visible because of the dress...

i never doubted that the photo was a real one. i didn't even pay attention at the foot that is missing. i however think, just as the article of la voz de galicia says in their last paragraph, that they must have taken tons of photos to choose this one: why not choosing a photo where you could see both feet and with the infanta smiling? it would have ended up with all the rumours and gossips.

Carlota, the girl is 14 months old ... I do not believe that with this age could from her demand that she poses as a model for hours  . If they were entertaining the Prince Christian with a story and were giving him chocolate in the session of photos with his father and his grandmother ... I do not want to imagine the one that they will have done in Zarzuela to be able to do a photo to Leonor alone. That is to say, what is done in all the families when one tries to do a photo to a baby.

Probably they chose the nicest photo, which more they liked. I do not believe that they could do many photos to her, she is a very little girl, who will move very much, she will get bored, will get tired... Often, the press is a bit absurd, and in this case they do not realize of that they are speaking about a baby who has not even idea of what is doing.

Probably because they didn't scrutinize and analyze every pixel of the photograph to figure out how to prevent potential sources of rumor and gossip. Picking a photo of your daughter for a Christmas card should be a fun and nice thing to do instead of wondering how your choice could be turned into a circus by some. I understand that they are the Princes of Asturias but how I wish this terrific couple and Leonor could be given some space to breathe.

I love the new photo of the infantita - she looks like such a happy, sweet and utterly adorable toddler. Yet so regal at the same time.

I think this all thing is soo stupid I mean common we have seen Leonor before and we know she has two legs and not one so this is soo freaking ridiculous.

Sometimes the Festive Season is not called the "Silly Season" for nothing. This is another silly issue. Who cares whether you can see one or both of Lenore's legs. She is beautiful all the same.

There has been no news for the present time. Until January 6 that is the Military Easter does not begin the official activity (unless finally the Prince should go to Brazil). The Infantas are in the habit of travelling to Soria and the Basque Country, respectively, and last year they went to ski to Baqueira.
On the Kings and the Princes there is no any news. The Kings already do not ski, and the plans of the Princes are changing every year according to the circumstances.

The Princes walked in Christmas Eve along Madrid with the Infantas and their children

The Princes of Asturias, together with their first-born one, the Infanta Leonor, crossed in the morning of the day of Christmas Eve the streets of the center of Madrid for two hours in company of Dona Elena and Dona Cristina and the children of both, informed Efe witnesses attend them.

The members of the Royal Family, to whom the husband of Dona Cristina added, Iñaki Urdangarín, chose this morning to visit the places of Madrid most typical in Christmas, as the Major square, before the expectation of the citizens who, as them, decided to enjoy awhile a walk along the animated streets of the center of the city.

Before acquiring picture cards in the Christmas places, the Princes and the Infantas, besides Iñaki Urdangarín and seven grandchildren of the Kings, they approached up to the square of the Villa to see the magnificent Birth that installs every year in these dates in the Town hall of the capital, realized in this occasion for Jose Luis Mayo.

From there they moved by foot - greeting all those there were approaching up to them and between tens of mobile that wanted to catch this moment - to the nearby Major square, where, beside buying typical articles in the stalls which thousands of visitors approach in these dates, they were present at a session of puppets.

To finish off the walk of two hours along the center of Madrid, Don Felipe, Dona Letizia, Dona Elena, Dona Cristina with her husband, and seven children took the classic hot chocolate with fritters in San Ginés's square.

The Infanta Leonor shared this way for the first time in her life a Christmas morning as that of thousands of Spanish children who come with theirfamilies these days to the center of the city.

Together with the small Leonor, which expired one year last October 31, there were her cousins, Victoria Federica and Felipe Juan Froilán, children of Dona Elena, as well as Juan Valentín, Pablo Nicolás, Miguel and Irene, children of Dona Cristina.

hey, no pics of Leo at the walk?:ermm::ermm:

For the present time nothing of nothing; this news is of EFE and seems that EFE only has these 3 photos of the Infantas, I have seen today a few images in television and they were of the same moment. The Plaza of Major of Madrid on December 24, it can be a madness, so people there was the great one, now it will be necessary to expect and to see if there was press or not. In these cases, if the photos have made paparazzi, it is necessary to wait to tomorrow and see if they appear in the magazines. I imagine that a photo of Leonor, of this type, out of official moments, has a very interesting quote.

Since the article mentions that it was a 2-hour stroll, I highly doubt that there isn't any pictures, but, on the other hand, since it's the holidays, the photographers could as well be 'on vacation' on the 24th and none of them captured the moment...

I do not believe that it influences the fact that it is a holiday, other years have taken images of them in the circus or of the Princes coming the day of Christmas to house of the mother of the Princess. Probably influences that it is the center of Madrid, which there would be many people and it is more difficult to come. But nonetheless there were many people, many telephones and cameras of photos, is the Major Plaza and Christmas;) .So photos sure that there are, now if the press has not done them have to obtain them.

Sure because the fotobox in a mobile is about One and a half or Two and half millions of pixels that is enought to do a good foto ( it's depend of the light of outside)
I don't how it's work but can we imagine that some people who have done such photo can sail it to the press? I hope so!
