King decorates Royal Medical Services with top military honor
Amman, Jan. 23 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Monday, bestowed the highest military honor upon the Royal Medical Services (RMS), established in 1941.
In a ceremony held today, in the presence of a number of Royal family members and top civil and military officials, His Majesty presented the Supreme Commander's flag to the Royal Medical Services in recognition of its efforts and contributions in the medical field.
Upon arrival for the ceremony, the King received an official welcome that included a 21-gun salute by the artillery.

Queen Rania's participation in Davos this year hardly got any coverage or should say none at all. Even when the trip is done, nothing was mentioned. It's actually surprising as her office/agencies do a nice coverage on her events in general.

Its very unsual her presence at Davos was unoticed i wonder if its because she didn't have any formal meetings or she didn't attend the very covered events.

Unfortunately no news about queen Rania. She may join HM to celebrate his 55th birthday wich marks next Monday.
Given the bad economic situation in Jordan and the high budget deficit, I do not expect good coverage for Queen Rania's activities this year in order to avoid any public criticism or comments on her lifestyle and expenses as happened during the Arab Spring years.
The King's visit to the US seems strange to me as he was there last month. Also, his meeting with the new president Donald Trump is not confirmed.

Not that much, but usually people's suffer of bad economic situation brings more criticism to the royal family specially queen Rania.
