Amman, May.21 (Petra) -- Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Monday, visited the Dar Al Aytam Society in Marka, eastern Amman, to learn about a newly implemented volunteer initiative there by the Nashmi Center for Youth Empowerment, which aims to transform the facility into a model orphanage.

King departs on working visit to US

Amman, June 21 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah departed on Thursday on a working visit to Washington, DC.

King Abdullah, who will be joined during the visit by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, will hold talks with United States President Donald Trump at the White House, on the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as current regional and international developments.
 
They are quite busy receiving heads of states and of governments:
this week: the king and queen of Spain
next week: the king and queen of Jordan
one week later: the prime minister of the Netherlands :flowers:
 
The Queen will attend solo engagements in US as usual or she will only attend the meeting with Trump and first lady in white house.
 
Queen Rania looks so thin and drawn! I wish her well.

At first I thought it is a new one too. The Arabic comment was later edited by the admin & clearly mentioned that this photo is from a previous visit to the Academy.
