The Prince and Princess of Wales Begin Visit to Boston

Today, Wednesday November 30, the Prince and Princess of Wales started a three-day official visit to in Boston, Massachusetts, where the Royal Couple, on Friday December 2nd, will attend the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony. The Earthshot Prize is a global prize for the environment and it was launched and organized by The Royal Foundation and Prince William.
Upon the arrival at the Logan Airport, the Prince and the Princess were welcomed by Charlie Baker, Governor of Massachusetts.
In the afternoon the Prince and the Princess were received at Boston City Hall by the Mayor, Michelle Wu.
Then at the Speaker’s Corner of City Hall Plaza the Royal Couple, accompanied by the Mayor and Maura Healey,*Governor-elect of Massachusetts, attended an event to kick off Earthshot celebrations by lighting up in green the Boston City Hall.
In the evening the Prince and the Princess attended the basketball match between Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
