Belgian King and Queen Visit the Belgian Province of Luxembourg

Today, Friday October 8, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde paid a visit to the Belgian Province of Luxembourg.
The first stop was in the municipality of Vielsalm where, after being welcomed by Olivier Schmitz, Governor of the Belgian province of Luxembourg and Elie Deblire, Mayor of the municipality, the Royal Couple visited the “La “S” Grand Atelier”. It is an artistic and cultural center for people with a mental disability that aims to promote their social integration. The King and the Queen visited the drawing and textile studio and met with supervisors and artists.
Then the Royal Couple moved to the municipality of Marche-en-Famenne. There they visited the Comptoir Forestier, a place that aims “to market seeds of high genetic quality and of guaranteed origin, harvested from the best Walloon stands”.
The visit ended at the Château Jadot castle where the Royal Couple was welcomed by local administrators and greeted the people gathered outside the castle.
