Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel To Visit The Baltic States

Sweden’s Crown Princess Couple will be paying visits to the Baltic States this year, to mark each respective country’s centenary of independence.

Their first visit will be to Lithuania on February 16, where Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will attend official celebrations in Vilnius on the country’s National Day before meeting with President Dalia Grybauskaitė for a luncheon. The Princess and Prince will attend a reception at the Swedish Embassy with school children who are working on the UN Global Sustainability Goals.

Victoria and Daniel will visit Latvia in April and Estonia in August for similar events, to “emphasises the importance of Sweden’s close relationships” with its neighbours.
