Princess Alexandra Visits St Christopher’s Hospice
Fifty years after she opened the hospice in July 1967, Princess Alexandra of Kent paid her yearly visit to St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham, London on Thursday.
Dressed in a royal blue skirt suit with a circular brooch pinned to her shoulder, Alexandra met with staff and volunteers before touring the wards to speak with patients and their families.
The Princess usually makes this visit in the lead-up to Christmas, however had to cancel last year because she was unwell. She is patron of the hospice.
