Charles and Camilla In Malaysia, Day Three
After a rest day on Sunday, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall continued their tour of Malaysia in Kuching on Monday.
They began with a visit to the Sarawak Cultural Village where Charles and Camilla watched traditional and warrior dances and viewed traditional homes, craft and textile demonstrations and food spreads. They also took in the village by raft, as they traveled across the village’s lake.
Prince Charles even got to try his hand at blowpipe hunting, an ancient hunting method used by the Penan people – providing more ‘fun’ images for the Prince’s tour photo albums!
Afterwards, the Prince went on his own to the Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, located on the island of Borneo, where he toured the centre and walked through part of the rainforest, feeding bananas to the endangered orang-utans that call the centre home.
