Obama Pays Flying Visit to Spain
King Felipe VI of Spain has held an audience with President Barack Obama at the Royal Palace of Madrid today, during the American President’s single day trip to the country. The purpose of the visit – expected to be Obama’s last as sitting President to Europe – was to highlight the relationship between Spain and the United States.
Last night, the King welcomed President Obama when Air Force One landed at the Torrejon de Ardoz Air Base.
The visit was originally planned to last two days, however has been cut short due to the recent events in Dallas.
