Monaco has celebrated its National Day, and all attention was taken by the 11-month-old twins of Prince Albert and Princess Charlène when they appeared on the balcony of the Prince’s Palace.

Held safely in the arms of their parents, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques watched the crowd below with curiosity. Gabriella pulled a number of faces during her appearance, while her younger brother was content to simply take it all in.

Earlier, Prince Albert and Princess Charlène were joined by members of the Princely Family for the traditional thanksgiving service at the Monaco Cathedral. Princess Caroline, her second son Pierre and his wife Beatrice, her two daughters Charlotte and Princess Alexandra, Princess Stéphanie and her son Louis were present for the mass, in which the recent Paris attacks were also commemorated.
