The Monégasque Princely Family were out in force today, to celebrate the country’s national day.

Prince Albert II led the charge of Grimaldis and Casiraghis across the three annual events that take place every November 19. He was joined by his two sisters, Princesses Caroline and Stephanie, for the mass at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame-Immaculee de Monaco. The Duke and Duchess of Castro were also in attendance for the mass.

It was then on to the courtyard of the Prince’s Palace, where the siblings were joined by three of Princess Caroline’s four children, Andrea (with his wife Tatiana Santo Domingo) and Pierre Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra of Hanover. The biggest surprise of the day was the first official appearance of Andrea Casiraghi’s son, Sacha, who stood holding his father and grandmother’s hands while Prince Albert handed out medals as per tradition.

Princess Charlene, who is expecting twins in the coming weeks, appeared on the palace balcony with her husband at the conclusion of the medal ceremony, to view the national day parade below.

In the evening, the Princely Family attended the national day gala at the Grimaldi Forum. Princess Caroline wore the cream floor-length evening gown and coat she wore to her son’s wedding earlier this year, while Tatiana donned a black lace evening gown.
