Prince Albert II and members of the Princely Family of Monaco presided over the annual celebrations to mark Monaco’s National Day last week. Despite the stormy weather Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline of Hanover and Princess Stephanie arrived at Monaco’s Cathedral where they were greeted by the Archbishop of Monaco before the annual Te Deum and mass at the cathedral.

Also attending the mass this year were Andrea Casiraghi, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Pierre Casiraghi, Princess Alexandra; as were Albert II’s cousin Baroness Elisabeth-Anne de Massy and her daughter Melanie de Massy. This year’s military parade was cancelled due to the very stormy weather.

After the Te Deum and mass, members of the Princely Family gathered on the palace balconies to greet the crowds. Later that evening, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline and Pierre Casiraghi attended the opera at the Salle des Princes at the Grimaldi Forum.

Notably absent from this year’s celebrations was the heavily pregnant Charlotte Casiraghi.
