yes, I always wonder how she carry all this heavy jewellery and tiaras, must had practice with it, specialy tiaras!

I love the earrings brooch and bracelet and the cute butterfly in her hair all stunning stunning....

This is why I love simple clothes. The jewels just stand out so beautifully. The hair ornament.....perfect. Letizia looks beautiful, don't get me wrong, but with her simple dress she would have dazzled with some of her jewels added. Of course theres only one....Maxi!!!!

I was loking at some photos from the coronation and I think the broch you can change the gem, it looks the same just the colour of the gem is different!, may be somebody can post some photos together, I don't know how to do it!

It seems like the scrolly top part is interchangeable it seems to be the pin with the the gems being pendants. The 2 gems are different shape, I think. The aquamarine comes to a point at the top where as the sapphire is a rounded oval.

The site says the provenance of the earrings and bracelet are not known but
are assumed to be acquired during Beatrix's reign.

I am so excited that she wore this tiara! Not only do I love it, it's been 9 years since she last worn it. The last appearance of this tiara was at Mary and Frederik's wedding.

So the Queen is actively defying the current trend to reduce tiara occasions, and wears a tiara at a “mere black-tie event, a “mere” official visit? I’m stunned and very, very pleased ! (… if only the dress would be more flattering…).

I sorely missed the star tiara at the weddings in Stockholm and Luxembourg, but surely HM doesn’t want to be bound to a strict pattern in her choice of jewels.

DonÄt like the tiara like this. It needs moe hair behind it to hide the connection with which the stars or pearl buttons are attached to the tiara frame. On Beatrix this worked perfect because it was then hidden in her hair.
But like this it looks like the staris are flying over the tiaraa frame until you have a better pic where on can see the attachements.

Good to see this interpretation of the tiara again after a long gap. Perhaps we will see Maxima with her hair a bit more, and perhaps see this tiara against a fuller hairdo next time.

I so missed her wedding tiara and her wedding briolette earrings. We don't see them very often. Really hate the dress though, sorry!
