I've seen the letter on another forum. It's pretty poor English, so wonder if it isn't a teenager who ought to have his behind spanked?

When I see Daniel's mother at royal events I have sometimes the feeling that she doesn't feel "suitable" there! Like being in the "wrong planet"!

Well, I think your comment is very unfriendly towards Eva Westling, and unjustified. Of course originally there was a world of difference between them, but they did their very best to adapt themselves, and succeeded, maybe the father a bit more convincingly than she. They are a very nice family and deserve a lot of respect, which I cannot spot in your comment.

Sorry, Anne2, if I had made the impression that I don't respect Ewa and Olle Westling. That isn't true. I admire them for being so down-to-earth and natural. Maybe my words in my post weren't good chosen.

What I wanted to tell is that I have the impression that Ewa is very retiring and maybe also a little bit shy.

I hope this post is not unfriendly towards Ewa Westling, as the intention for my previous post should also not be unfriendly towards her.
 
Did anyone else notice - or is it just me - but does it look like Daniel's father has lost quite a bit of weight. And his beard is a LOT grayer!

Yes but the loss of weight does not appear too significant to me, maybe he feels fitter like this.

Bertil Ternert tells that the king has spent very much time with the book and written himself everything. The king is both personal and incredibly private in the book. Most important to him during these years is undoubtedly the "family": "The thing I'm most proud of over the past 40 years, is my family."
The king has got photos of which he has chosen some, but there is a lot of private photos, like this one of the king with Estelle at Drottningholm: "Here I am out and about with Princess Estelle at Drottningholm. Having grandchildren makes me humble ahead of the future and I think a lot about what kind of world we are leaving to future generations."

The court is lazy updating the english version, and it doesn't always have the same information than the swedish - many work events of the royal family aren't mentioned. According to the english calendar only the queen and Victoria had work events today, but the king had also two events and Daniel one.
