Well if you're familiar with her Charlotte and her background then there's nothing new in the article that you don't know. But if you're not familiar with or her family then this is new. People here in the US may remember Grace Kelly as the American actress who married a prince but how many know her grandchildren. I'm sure they're familiar with Caroline, Albert and Stephanie but Charlotte and her brothers? I don't think so.

The picture with Charlotte riding and the last picture are my favorite.

I think they all do jobs anyway. We just see them only at leisure, when they are at cafes with friends, on yachts, walking dogs. They don't generally do their "job" activities in the open air so we can't see Pierre reading up on Engeco, or Andrea making a fresh pot of coffee for the deputy ambassador from Qatar

(just kidding on that one! I don't actually believe that's what he does! Just making a point, and I think I've made it.)

True enough. It's a bit like that interview Caroline gave when she was younger - if she wanted to get rid of the paparazzi all she had to do was walk into a book store.

And it's like I said on the other thread - the "in-between" stuff isn't interesting to the media.
I like the thought of Andrea making coffee though!

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but if someone knows please what brand of riding boots Charlotte favours or wears mostly? I know Faglioni boots are what a lot of professional riders wear.

Wow, she's so beautiful in that pic! Long time I hadn't seen her looking so stunning. Blue is her colour.

Faglioni? It's the first time I hear the name.
Most intensive riders (amateur and profesional both) wear handmade, made-to-measure boots, often by small artisans, not necessarelly by big popular brands.

In any case, I'm 99'9% sure Charlotte's boots are made by Gucci.

Hi, I didn't knew Fagliano either, but from what I see in their web the specialise in Polo, and truth is I don't know anything about that sport, that's probably why I never hear of them before

Anyway, those boots look awfully expensive not to be custom made! I wonder who buys them? For that price you can have a specialized artisan make your boots specially for you.

He probably gets them for free for wearing/endorsing them at polo matches, but Prince Harry wears Fagliano boots. :flowers:

I posted this here but as my post was moved, it doesn't make much sense. The boots are definitely Gucci. Charlotte has a special collection designed just for her. The caption in Vogue said, "In Gucci Special Collection for Charlotte Casiraghi and Gucci customized boots."

^Yah, I saw that I think. Thanks, Thecia. It's a pretty neat trick of Charlotte's, don't ya think, having Frida design these things one-only things for her and then Gucci calls it the Special Collection for, and only for Charlotte Casiraghi, so don't even bother going to harrass the salespeople at Barneys or going on the Gucci website to find it!

I mean, if you shop at Barneys even.... like I do, yeah, right, OK!

Their grandfathers were business rivals and didn't get along at all...and Princess Grace reportedly really loathed Aristotle Onassis. So it is rather poignant to see their granddaughters being so friendly and relaxed together all these years later.

Athina bears a striking resemblance to her late mother, the tragic Christina.
Just as Charlotte is the spitting image of Princess Caroline.

It's true that they both favor their mothers, and yet isn't it nice that we don't have to describe Athina as tragic and Charlotte as rebellious?!! They've managed to become (at least from appearances) stable young women. :flowers:

I don't care for the outfit with the long dress with jacket and flats...I think it's unflattering. But she is so breathtakingly lovely that it really doesn't matter what she wears, IMO.

Who is the tall man always with her, is he a bodyguard? I hope he is merely there to keep the paparrazzi from coming too close, and that she has not received some type of kidnapping threat?

No wonder she often looks so wary out in public. :sad:
