As I said again. Is age 37 old for you?? Do you have problem with it that Letiza is a young and modern woman. Or could it be that you are maybe a little bit jalous that you are not able to wear what Letizia wears.

Letizia is the best PR Spain has a time. I just don´t understand why she is getting so bad comments here.
We live in the 21st Century. And also Monarchy is changing - which included clothing too.
There had been a reason why she had been voted recently by a fashion magazine to one of the best dressed woman. These are fashion specialist and they knew what they are doing with this choice. They did it right.

I love the way she is dressed - and in my eyes she is dressed right to every occassion or event she is attending.

.
Along with the boots, she is getting dangerously close to a kind of Princess Beatrice dressing, which is never a good idea and definitely not for a 37-year-old wife to the heir of the Spanish throne.

If Letizia is really the best PR for Spain.... then all I can say is that Spain is really a poor country!!!!
IMO the reasom why she is always voted a "best dressed" or so, is, that that magazines judge the outfit with the style of celebrities in their mind.
But Letizia is the wife of the heir to the spanish throne, the next Queen, but not a Hollywood-starlet!
That dress (is it even a dress or a long blouse?) is way too short, most of her outfits in the last weeks are inappropiate for a woman in her position.

In general a good idea for an outfit, the boots and stockings are quite stylish but the dress is all wrong. I don't mind the print but it's not only too short and too casual but also a flimpsy summer dress (have a guess, Mango, 49.95 Euro?), a quality winter costume would have looked so much better. The coat is nice but too big, strange, as Letizia has worn similar well fitted coats in the past, where have they gone?

Dressing like a barbie doll doesn't help being taken seriously unless the aim is to get on various best dressed lists as "fashion icon" since the role as future consort doesn't offer too much substance.

I am getting surprised, no, shocked by each new outfit I see her wear. I am not able to understand the reason for a princess, who was previously a tv reporter, to dress in this manner. As a tv reporter, I loved her clothes, she wore tailored pant suits and skirts. After her marriage, she continued wearing similar type of clothes, nice round heels, tailored tops, separates. Just this past year, I have noticed her fashion sense has dropped, IMO. She is either sloppily dressed or wearing clothes not suitable for her age or position.

Also, living in the 21st century doesn't mean that we have to dress like futuristic drama's female character. Modernism can be achieved in many other ways. I wouldn't have had any problem with her dress, had she worn it at a private setting. It is a casual dress intended for a casual environment and not an official engagement. Why don't we see Felipe in polo t-shirts and khakis? I always see him impeccably dressed in a suit and tie, no matter what the occasion.

I like the boots and the coat, the dress is ok but I don'like it on a public event. Too short, IMO!

Little girl lost ...

Another "look at me!" posture in a far too short skirt.

Apart from the skirt being too short for an official event I think the combo with the black stockings and shoes is not bad but the tacky sequined cardi doesn't work with it at all.

All in all she looks like a badly dressed barbie doll.

OMG :eek:she look like she is wearing her daugthres clothes, what she is thinking to go out there in sush look?absolutely ridiculous and inappropriate for a woman in her position.I know she is young and we are in 21th century...but come on guys this a way far and has no relation with modernity,I agree with whom said"Modernism can be achieved in many other ways",the high of skirt isn't one of these ways IMO.

^^^ I like the mini dresses Letizia has been wearing. They're in and she has the body for it. The outfit looks good on her. It's a well balanced outfit. I see nothing wrong with the mini at all.

Just be thankful that she's wearing tights with these dresses unlike Hollywood celebrities.

nice that letizia starting this season with new clothes

Thats one nice look. The scarf is a lovely color and I love the way she has tied the coat, looks really neat unlike other royals who tie them quite messy sometimes.

State Visit from Vietnam, Dec 13th
Lunch

Very stylish outfit, I like the coat. The scarf could have been in a brighter colour, it seems to be very cold in Madrid (First Lady from Vietnam also with a scarf, she must be freezing in this climate) :)

Is this the same coat from last week?
I like it, she looks neutral. :)

:previous: I think it´s a different coat, the shape looks different to me.
I quite like this coat, the colour looks great on her. Today it´s very cold in almost all Spain, I think that the sacarves are necessary ;) Letizia´s one is lovely, but a different colour would have look nicer with that coat. Her hair looks very pretty as well.
All in all, it´s a nice look :flowers:

Letizia looks good. All of the neutral colours work well together and aare appropriate for winter.

I think this is an overall nice look, all neat and tidy. She's dressed suitably for the weather.

Finally something I like on Letizia.
Everything is lovely.I even like her shoes.
I love those neutral colors.

The coat is wonderful, but I would have also liked to have seen a colorful scarf with the coat and pants. I'm getting tired of the part down the middle wavy hair look she's got going on. For whatever reason, the part is not complimenting her features as well as other hairstyles she has had in the past.

What a beautifully tailored coat on Princess Letizia. I think she looks great in this outfit. The First Lady of Vietnam must be REALLY, REALLY short, BTW.

nothing special on the fashion front, imo.....

The coat is very nice. It was not from last week, but was a recycled one. I'd like to see a red scarf instead. Like the shoes too.

This is indeed a lovely look, I like everything on it. The coat is well fitting and she looks elegant, I like the soft colours as well. Appropriate for this time of the year. In the first pic she reminds me a bit on Cindy Crawford, btw. ;)

Princess Letizia of Spain attends 'Stela Proyect' Awards ceremony at the Racetrack on December 16, 2009 in Madrid, Spain.

The blouse is nice, but that's it. I'm not fond of the coat, neither of the open shoes...

The outfit from the Stela ceremony is good. I actually love the blouse, very pretty and feminine. I might have liked a chocolate brown better with the pale pink blouse, it might now have been so stark a comparison.

The black coat is nice but I don't like the shoes and the suit!
Ugly colour and cheap material!

The suit is ill-fitting but in some pictures it looked really nice.
The turtleneck top was the wring choice, I think she shouldve gone for a color such as purple.

This suit is awful!!!

Letizia should ask for a new wardrobe for christmas:lol::bang:
