Wednesday, November 4
President Essebsi and his wife Caïd Essebsi arrive at Arlanda airport on Wednesday morning. They are met by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. The royal couple meets them at the Royal Mews for the procession to the Royal Palace where a solemn welcome ceremony takes place.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström gives a lunch for her Tunisian colleague Taieb Baccouche at Arvfurstens palace.
In the afternoon Speaker Urban Ahlin meets the presidential couple at the parliament. The President gives after the meeting a speech in the First Chamber.
In the evening the royal couple hosts a banquet for the presidential couple at the Royal Palace.
Thursday, November 5
Thursday's program begins with a Business Forum organized by Business Sweden and the Tunisian Embassy. The president and the king participate at the introduction of the forum.
Then the presidential couple and the royal couple visit Nobel Museum in the Old Town, on the occasion of that the Tunisian Quartet was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize this year.
Lunch will take place in Stockholm City Hall with the President of the City Council, Eva Louise Erlandsson Slorach and Commissioner of Finance and Mayor of Stockholm Karin Wanngård as hosts. The King and Queen, the presidential couple, the crown princess couple and prince Carl Philip attend.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven receives President Essebsi in Rosenbad. The meeting will be concluded with a joint press conference.

After lunch, the president, the king and and Minister for Public Administration Ardalan Shekarabi take part at a contract signing of cooperation between the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions and La Fédération des Villes Tunisiènnes.
The state visit ends with a farewell ceremony at the Arlanda airport where the royal couple says goodbye to the presidential couple. The government is represented by Minister for Public Administration Ardalan Shekarabi.
