I just saw an adorable picture on Instagram of the King with his godson, Prince Vincent!
Could someone please repost it?
Just checked in to see what Mary was wwearing. Interesting she is not wearing the ruby set. Huh.You'd think if there was ever a reason to wear it, it would be a state dinner.

Obviously the big bad QMII has forbidden it and Mary has no agency or say in what jewels of hers she is allowed to wear. The Queen of Spain seems to wearing new to me earrings and lower brooch. I'll await the close ups for a better look. La Buena looks magnificent as ever.
Queen Margrete refused Queen letizia second kiss. That should be said in advance !
They arrive in Denmark where they are received by Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and Princess Benedikte.
Actually she usually does not wear if for State Banquets. One exception was at the belgian State Vist, but i guess it was because the rubies matched with the belgian Order she got.
It looks like many non-royal ladies are wearing their personal tiaras at the banquet. Is that common in Denmark?
I think in Denmark if you have a tiara you wear it if you are invited to such an occasion.
The dress code is the same for all guests. If it says 'tiaras may be worn', every lady who has access to a tiara can wear it.It seems that many non-royal ladies are wearing their personal tiaras at the banquet. Is that common in Denmark?
It looks like big diamond and sapphire earrings. I believe Letizia wore them before, but I am sure the jewelry experts here will clarify.
It seems that the ladies of the court, the Queen’s ladies in waiting are wearing a new uniform.
About 4 ladies were wearing a red/burgundy dresses came in a row and greeted the royals but the first one gloves stuck in one of the Queen’s rings.
After the Swedish court reintroduced the court dress in 1988 both the Danish and Norwegian courts introduced court dresses for their ladies-in-waiting. The Danish ladies-in-waiting have worn court dresses since around the time of the Queen & Prince Henrik's silver wedding celebrations during the summer of 1992. They are designed by the Queen herself and were slightly redesigned a few years ago.It seems that the ladies of the court, the Queen’s ladies in waiting are wearing a new uniform.

Letizia has delivered one of the worst looks I've ever seen at a State Banquet, I also can't understand why Mary isn't wearing her Ruby Parure.
I'm livid. At least my QMII is wearing her Emeralds for a change.
