Will Princess Letizia have an official companion for her solo engagements, like Princess Victoria or Princess Mary do?
In the Royal Spanish House there does not exist the role of the Lady- in - waiting, neither the Queen nor the Infantas have. They are in the habit of being accompanied by an assistant who always is a military man, and not always is the same person. You can see them always, behind and dress in military uniform.
