Countess Auriane of Oultremont, nee Ysebrant de Lendonck died Braine l'Alleud on 9 January.

She was born in Sint Katelijne-Waver on 19 August 1936 and married there civilly on 13 August and religiously on 20 August 1955 Count Jean-Pierre of Oultremont (1930-2007) [youngest of five children of Count Pierre of Oultremont (1883-1965) & his wife Elisabeth, nee Baroness Pycke de Peteghem (1889-1937)].

She is survived by her four children: Graziella (b.1956), Roxanne (b.1958), Aurian (b.1962) & Alexis (b.1963) and their families.

Countess Georges de La Rochefoucauld, née Madeleine de Nicolay, passed away on 17 January 2016, aged 94.

She was born in Paris on 8 April 1921, as a daughter of Count Roger de Nicolay and of his wife, née Pauline Le Peletier de Rosanbo.
She married in 1941 to Count Georges de La Rochefoucauld (1917-2002), a grandson of the 3rd Duke d'Estissac and also brother of Count Roger de La Rochefoucauld, husband of the late Princess Isabelle of Bourbon-Parma.
Count and Countess Georges were parents of four children, the youngest of whom died as a child.
She is survived by her children Count Pierre de La Rochefoucauld, Countess Geoffroy-Liénard de Belloy de Saint-Liénard and Count Christian de La Rochefoucauld, her children-in-law, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Countess Johanna von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg, née Countess von Galen, died on 21 January 2016, aged 79.

She was born at Haus Assen on 24 September 1936, as the fourth of the six children of Count Christoph-Bernhard von Galen and of his wife, née Countess Marie Sophie Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau.
She married on 8 september 1956 to Count Clemens August von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg (1927-2014), with whom she had six children (the eldest of whom predeceased his parents in 2001).
She is survived by her children, their families and her five siblings.

Count Anton-Wolfgang von Faber-Castell died in Houston, Texas, on 16 January.

He was born in Bamberg on 7 June 1941 as sixth of ten children of Count Roland von Faber-Castell (1905-1978) and second by his second marriage to Katharina Sprecher von Bernegg (1917-1994).
In 1980 his first son, Charles Alexander, was born; his mother was Carla Mathilde Lamesch (1942-2010). They married only sixyears later in Las Vegas on 16 July 1986, but marriage soon ended in divorce.
He married secondly in Stein on 12 December 1987 Mary Hogan (b.1951) by whom he had three daughters: Katharina Elisabeth (b.1988) and twins Victoria Maria Cornelia Ottilie & Sarah Anne Angela Nadine (b.1996).

Countess Olga Luise zu Dohna-Schlodien, née von Hagen, passed away at Babenhausen on 20 January 2016, aged 90.

She has been the wife of Count Christoph zu Dohna-Schlodien from 1972 until his death in 1978. They didn't have issue.

Great tragedy has fallen on Thomas Kunigl, Count of Ehrenburg (b.1965) [youngest of four children of Erica Kunigl, Countess of Ehrenburg (1935-1981) & her husband (and probably cousin) Leopold Kunigl, Count of Ehrenburg (1917-1999)] & his wife Diana, nee Scheffbanker (b.1969):

The youngest of their three children, Chiara, died in January, aged 15.

Apart from her parents she bereft two siblings: Fabian Stefan Ferdinand (b.1995) & Laura Diana Erica (b.1997).

Caroline-Mathilde von Steenderen, nee Countess of Solms-Baruth died on 21 January.

She was born in Klitschdorf on 15 April 1929 as the youngest of five children of Count Friedrich of Solms-Baruth (1886-1951) & his wife Adelheid, nee Princess of Schleswig-Holstein (1889-1964).
She married in Stellenbosch on 12 May 1963 Johann van Steenderen (1905-1978).

Xavier Coppetieres de Gibson, husband of Countess Françoise de Lannoy, died on 10 Janauary 2016 in Watermael-Boitsfort.

He was born on 11 October 1928 and was married since 1963 to Countess Françoise de Lannoy, the youngest child of the late Count and Countess Maurice de Lannoy.
They were parents of three children (Clothilde, Arnold and Baudouin).
He is survived by his wife, their children, children-in-law and eleven grandchildren.

H.S.H. Fürst Alfons Wenzel Paar passed away a few days ago, aged 83, in Lugano, Switzerland.

He was born on 31 May 1932, the eldest child of Fürst Alfons Paar and of his wife, née Countess Sophia von Schlitz gennant von Görtz.
He has been married from 1969 until they divorced in 1982 to Marie Gabrielle von Mallinckrodt, by whom he had one daughter, Désiree, and one son Hubertus.

Countess Charlotte von Hohenau died on 12 February 2016 at the age of 98.

She was born in Berlin on 11 March 1917 and was the daughter of Count Wilhelm von Hohenau and of his first wife, née Countess Anna Henckel von Donnersmarck; she had also one brother, who died aged 21 in 1940, killed in action during WW2.
He grandfather, Count Friedrich von Hohenau, was the youngest child of Prince Albrecht of Prussia by his second and morganatic wife Rosalie von Rauch, who was created Countess von Hohenau in 1853.
Countess Charlotte was unmarried and didn't have issue. She was the last surviving member of the Hohenau family.

Countess Bernadetta Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau, née Countess von Merveldt, passed away on 14 February 2016, aged 93.

She was born on 29 December 1922 and has been married from 1947 until he died in 2011 to Count Josef Kinsky von Whinitz un Tettau (1913-2011). They became parents of two sons, František and Antonín (who predeceased his mother in 2012).
She is survived by her son František, daughter-in-law Martina, grandchildren Kristian and Barbora (with her husband Alexej Jaroš and children Alexis, Maximilian and Sofia), as well as by her sister Countess Anna von Thun und Hohenstein.
