:previous: That's amazing...a choir made up of people 75-100 years old?!

Many residencies have senior citizens choirs; a long time ago my great-aunt decided to retire from her senior citizens choir because "all those people in their 70s might think she was getting too old"... (she was in her 90s at that time; passed away 20 years ago)

During their visit for the Berlin Film Festival on February 19th, the HGD couple attended a ceremony awarding two science journalists Jean Pütz and Ranga Yogeshwar, and author Tom Hillenbrand, creator of the figure of the Luxembourg cook and detective Xavier Kieffer, honorary orders of the Grand Duchy at the Luxembourg Embassy in Berlin.

Oh wow...they look amazing! Total class.

I haven't been following the HGD couple for several months now and recent photos of Prince Guillaume make me wonder if he's become rather "portly." Is it the way he's standing, or clothing or angle of the photo, or am I seeing a bit of weight gain?

No criticism, especially not from me. Just wondering.

More photos and info: RTL Today - Culture - Art and Science: New York joins Luxembourg’s Art2Cure initiative
HRH Prince Guillaume and HRH Princess Stéphanie, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, consul general of Luxembourg in New York, Hon Jeanne Crauser, and ambassador and permanent representative of Luxembourg to the UN, HE Christian Braun, were amongst the 250-300 people present: there to celebrate the work of thirteen artists, from Luxembourg and New York, but to also celebrate the union of two universities, Luxembourg and Columbia, in research.

Art2Cure is a non-for-profit organisation, founded in 2014, which marries art and science: artists get a platform for their work and half of the proceeds raised goes to biomedical research.

With Art2Cure launching in New York, half of the artists come from New York, half from Luxembourg. Of the money raised, half will go to the artists and half will go to Parkinson’s disease research. Half of this research money will be used by Colombia University in New York, half by the University of Luxembourg.

Six months of hard graft from Luxembourg researchers was put to the test in Mondorf-les-Bains on Tuesday when an autonomous car drove visitors around the car park.

Great to see that they were put to work :)

How original, at their age & in their position... I suppose it is not known yet how long they will stay away or what they will study.

Their studies are in Luxarazzi's post: Guillaume's starting a post-graduate training course at the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS) in September. Stephanie's studying art history at the Sotheby's Institute during their stay.

I did not find information on Guillaume and Stéphanie's trip to London on the website of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

RTL has a copy of the Cour's announcement: RTL.lu - People - Ierfgroussherzoglech Koppel: Fir post-universitär Studie geet et op London

It looks like he will be the first one from Luxembourg to complete the course. The duration of the programme is about one year (September - July).

Ok so this is a temporary move then?
