Last weekend there was the 4th edition of the Tulip ball, in the Koepelkerk (Dome church - now part of the Renaissance hotel) on the Singel in Amsterdam.

Among the -mainly aristocratic- guests was Duke Michael of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, youngest son of the duke Borwin and his wife Alice Wagner:

On June 3rd 2019 has passed away at the age of 100: Woizlawa-Feodora Elise Marie Elisabeth Prinzessin Reuß, Herzogin zu Mecklenburg (1918-2019).

Woizlawa was the last still living participant at the Royal Wedding of Princess Juliana of the Netherlands and Bernhard Prinz zur Lippe-Biesterfeld in 1937. The Princess was a full cousin to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands:

Do we know anything about the ring in the Twitter posting? It is obviously the engagement ring - but very oldish looking; so, is it a historical one?

And do we know anything about her background? I found a girl with the same name, which is a producer of yoghurt, so, she is an entrepreneuress in/from the Netherlands with a turkish family story. Anything else?

So, no, I searched it a bit more thoroughly: The ring is simply retro and represents the colors of the House and state Mecklenburg.

And yes, she is the entrepreneuress from the Netherlands and owns the yoghurt outfit with her brother.
