Sophie visited Ukraine today. This is a significant moment in Anglo-Ukrainian relations, the first visit to Ukraine by a member of the Royal Family since the war began.

It's really great that she undertook that visit!

The visit, to demonstrate solidarity with the women, men and children impacted by the war, is a continuation of her work to champion survivors of conflict related sexual violence.

"…Unicorn"? Is that a Scottish title now?

A unicorn has been part of the Coat of Arms of Scotland for many centuries.
Liam Devlin is Scotland’s official Unicorn Pursuivant, a badge of office for the Court of the Lord Lyon, which helps bring order to matters of Scottish heraldry. In other words he is a Heraldry expert. The Court of the Lord Lyon is where Scottish heraldry questions or disputes are brought and hopefully settled.

Why is Edward called 'His Grace' instead of 'His Royal Highness' - is that in relation to his role as High Commissioner?

Why is Edward called 'His Grace' instead of 'His Royal Highness' - is that in relation to his role as High Commissioner?

I think the same question was raised when William filled the role, so the answer is probably yes.

I haven't had much time to peruse the forums and looking on this thread is really heartwarming, Sophie who always get the dress coat right and Edward, who looks more and more like his father, especially when preventing sunburn on his balding pate with a really dapper summer panama.

They are a lovely couple and these past months they have more than done their bit to fill the gaps in royal engagements on behalf of the King. The fact that they seem to be lighthearted and thoroughly enjoying themselves is the cherry on top. Really, they are the BRF energizer bunnies of the decade with their diary rivaling that of much younger members in previous years.

They truly are worthy supporters of Charles, Camilla, William and Catherine and I think the slow down for the Snap Election will be more than welcome for all the stalwarts of any age in the BRF.

Hello, - can anyone be able to provide a link or transcript of Sophie's letter in the Sunday Times today about her trip to Ukraine?
