Queen Silvia Awarded The Bavarian Order of Merit

Sweden’s Queen Silvia was awarded with the Bavarian Order of Merit on Monday in a ceremony at the Prinz-Carl-Palais in Munich. The Order was presented by Bavaria’s Ministerpräsident Horst Seehofer, who decided to honour the Queen with the Order because of her “international social commitment and special connection to Bavaria”. Bavarian and Thurn und Taxis Royals Attend Bavarian State Parliament’s Summer Reception

The Bavarian State Parliament hosted their annual summer reception at Schleissheim Palace yesterday, with members of the former Bavarian and Thurn und Taxis royal families among the guests. Prince Leopold and Princess Ursula of Bavaria posed for photos with Albert, 12th Prince of Thurn und Taxis and his mother, the never boring Princess Gloria.

AMADE Deutschland Gala Gathers Some Royal Attendees

A gala dinner held in Munich tonight by AMADE Deutschland had a few royals in attendance: Princess Caroline of Hanover and a number of Bavarians – Franz, Duke of Bavaria, Prince Leopold and Princess Ursula and Prince Luitpold. Prince Leopold of Bavaria At BMW Presentation

Yesterday Prince Leopold “Poldi” of Bavaria attended the BMW presentation of the new Z4 Roadster at the BMW Pavillon in Munich, Germany. The prince is known for his passion for cars and racing, something he developped in his youth already.
