The Prince of Wales has embarked on a week-long tour of Europe, starting on Wednesday March 29 in Romania. His first engagement after landing in Bucharest was at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where he laid a wreath in memory of soldiers who lost their lives fighting for Romania. Prince Charles on Private Visit to Romania

The Prince of Wales is currently on a private visit to Romania, where he has launched a new foundation, The Prince of Wales’ Foundation Romania. The aim of the foundation is to “support heritage preservation, agriculture and sustainable development in Romania”, as well as education, and will be based in the village of Viscri, located in Brașov County where the Prince has two 18th century houses.
