Surprise WE Day engagement for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

On March 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex surprised crowds as they entered the stage of the WE Day celebrations at Wembley Arena; an event celebrating young people.

Celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and Nicole Scherzinger also attended the event, which was founded in 1995 by brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger and aims to bring young people together to discuss world issues and changes.

The Duke performed a speech at the event where he said “it’s a great privilege to be back in this exciting, buzzing space, this time as President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust; a platform we created for YOU where your ideas and creativity will be taken seriously – because it’s YOU that are making the most impact in your communities”.

Thousands of young people from across the country were also in the audience at the event which has raised £45million and has given to over 1,000 charities since it was founded.
